Datuk Seri Najib Razak underwent a minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand in Kuala Lumpur Hospital Saturday.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he is recovering well from the minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) yesterday.

In his tweet today in thanking Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for wishing him speedy recovery, Najib said: "I'm recovering well, thank you for the kind thoughts. See you soon."

Lee in his tweet yesterday wished Prime Minister a speedy recovery and was glad to hear that the procedure was successful.

HKL in a statement yesterday said Najib underwent the operation as an out patient, and had returned home.
