On Monday, Ho and Jahabar were arrested by the police, believed to be over an article published by the news portal last week.
According to Syahredzan, the two were arrested under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act and Section 4 of the Sedition Act.
Before that, TMI managing editor Lionel Morais, features and analysis editor Zulkifli Sulong and Bahasa news editor Amin Iskandar were also arrested over the same article.
The trio were released on Tuesday after the magistrate’s court denied a remand order for them.
