PASIR MAS:A decision by a polytechnic graduate  Nur Fatin Syuhada Mohd Saat  to leave a paid job to venture into online 'bundle' business last year, proved worthwhile for she is now earning an income of up to five figures monthly.

The civil engineering graduate of Kota Bharu Polytechnic put to use the 'Facebook Live' application to market her bundle clothing to netizens through her page 'Gadis Bundle by Nur Fatin Syuhada' (Bundle Girl by Nur Fatin Syuhada), that has now reached almost 8,000 followers.

"I had worked at many places, including at a 24-hour convenience store and as a telemarketer at a bank in Kuala Lumpur last year before deciding to quit the job and  go in full gear into the business," she told Bernama when met at her house at Kampung Gual Sitok, here, today.

Nur Fatin, 27,said  she took about a year to learn about the business, such as getting to know the suppliers and the overall market before slowly making her move with a startup capital of only RM100.

The second child of four siblings said she could sell up to 300 women bundle apparels in two to four hours, by going live on Facebook.

Her products are priced at as low as RM3 to RM20, depending on the types and brands, which are familiar among the bundle lovers.

Nur Fatin, who goes on live around 10 pm four days a week would display each apparel and those interested would leave their comments on the chosen items.

"The online sale attracted customers from all over the country, including Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Pahang.

"I also have walk in customers who come to my house to buy pre-loved clothings,” quipped Nur Fatin who is helped by her aunt, Harlina Mukhtar, 53, and uncle Mohd Nasri Majid, 57.

Grateful for the success, Nur Fatin admitted that she has never taught that the 'bundle world' could actually turn into a lucrative business, and encouraged others, especially unemployed graduates to try their hands at it.
