Sabah Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Masidi Manjun via his Twitter account today said the government should “relook its airline licensing policy to safeguard the interests of air travelers.”
His tweet is a reply to Astro AWANI's news tweet of netizens responding on Rayani Air's recent incident today which left more than 200 passengers stranded at the Langkawi International Airport.
Masidi however stated that Rayani Air flight cancellation was inevitable since the airline have only two aircrafts.

@501Awani : Govt should relook its airline licensing policy to safeguard the interests of air travelers. Airlines are not bus services.

@501Awani : With just 2 aircrafts (serving East & West M'sia respectively) flight cancellation is inevitable when one plane breaks down.
