The Amber Court Apartment housing complex in Genting Highlands has fallen into a dilapidated state with piles of rubbish and illegal by foreign workers, after years of neglect.
One of the apartment owners, Frankie Koh, claimed they had been seeking from the management the presence of a foreign worker quarters at the apartment's covered car park complete with kitchens and toilets as well as a host of other grouses but to no avail.
He bought the unit in 2012 as a weekend now many owners had moved out and the price of the apartments had fallen to as low as RM30000 for a studio unit.
"We hope the authorities such as the Immigration Department and Bentong Municipal Council Building Commissioner will investigate and take actions," he told reporters.
The apartment owners today took up the issue with the management at its annual general turned rowdy, forcing the current management chairman, Eric Law to leave the meeting.
It was learnt the apartment owners present proceeded with the meeting. - BERNAMA
