Ambassadors and high commissioners to Malaysia have given positive feedback about Perak after their three-day visit to the state beginning Monday.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the ambassadors and high commissioners were impressed by the culture, natural beauty and tourism products in the state.

"In fact, the attitude of the Perak people like the smile on the faces of bus drivers, was also an attraction to them," he told reporters Wednesday.

Zambry said although the visit was brief, it was a step towards getting to know the unique state and promoting the Visit Perak Year 2017 to the ambassadors and high commissioners.

The pioneer programme organised by the Foreign Ministry was to expose the dignitaries including those from Argentina, Belgium, Maldives, Cambodia, Finland, Fiji, Nigeria and Namibia, to Perak. -- Bernama
