FMFA drug abuse: 14 still hospitalised

14 people are still being treated at several hospitals after six people died yesterday due to drug overdose at the Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) 2014.
All of them are reported to be in stable condition, police said.
Nine of those hospitalised are Singaporeans, one Malaysian, one Myanmar national, one Iranian, one Taiwanese while the nationality of the last person was unknown, according to Cheras police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohan Singh.
They are being treated at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, University Malaya Medical Centre and UKM Medical Centre.
Mohan said another reveler who collapsed after consuming drugsat the Stadium Bukit Jalil concert had been discharged from hospital earlier this morning.
“29 arrests have been made relating to drug abuse, 13 of them are Malaysians while 16 others are foreigners,” he said.
Yesterday, the FMFA was cancelled following the death of the six. They were identified as: Kamal Zekry Kamal Basha, 22, Victor Wong E Hern, 26, Sabreena Kamaruddin, 21, M.Suresh, 28, Syazana Sohaime, 23, and Nor Faizza Mohd Wazir, 27.
They had reportedly collapsed after overdosing on methamphetamine.
