KUALA NERUS: The fourth edition of the Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) Tour, held at the Terengganu State Sports Complex, has received an encouraging response from the people in the state.

Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin said this could be seen from the huge number of visitors participating in each activity organised and thronging the booths set up, including the Ministry of Education (MOE), which is spearheading the AKM Tour from June 2-4.

"This morning, there was a Fun Ride event and other activities, with all of them receiving an overwhelming response. Even during the #tanyaDRJ segment at the MOE booth, many people took the opportunity to ask me questions.

"Overall, the response from the community has been excellent," he told reporters after the #tanyaDRJ segment in conjunction with the AKM Tour.

Radzi said his ministry is expecting more visitors tomorrow as it is the weekend and the event is also set to be more lively with the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who is scheduled to close the Terengganu AKM Tour.

The AKM Tour this time is a continuation of the 100-Days of Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia event filled with service-orientated programmes, which was held at 14 locations throughout the country to ensure people at all levels will better understand and appreciate AKM's concept which emphasised inclusivity, togetherness and gratitude.
