The education allocation often received due attention and made priority under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
The educational aspect of the people of Sabah continues to be a priority of the state government, including the education provision, says state assistant finance minister Datuk Ramlee Marahaban.
Ramlee, who is also Bugaya state assemblyman said the education allocation, including the need and the lack of school infrastructure in Sabah, often received due attention and made priority under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
"He (Musa) often reminded representatives in each district to go down to the field to help schools and local education departments to ensure education of the children.
"For those who require involvement and help from the leaders, we will help within our capabilities," he said.
Ramlee was speaking to reporters after officiating a programme organised by SMK Tagasan Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) here today.
He said there was a need to continue the collaboration between parents and teachers to produce competitive human capital which was a priority of the government. - BERNAMA
