Liow also urged all party members to work hard in facing the 14th general election to make up for past losses.
The Chinese community are urged not to be fooled hy the opposition's political 'drama' because they do not have a strong stand in many issues, said MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
He said the opposition was currently split as they had different stand on various issues.
"Previously there were only PAS, Parti Keadilan Rakyat and DAP in the opposition pact but now there are Parti Amanah Negara and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (former prime minister).
"They have no stand...previously DAP urged the people to support PAS in the last two general election but now they condemn PAS (like) in the Pakatan Harapan convention yesterday. As such, don't be fooled by them," he said at the MCA 63rd annual general assembly here today.
Liow also urged all party members to work hard in facing the 14th general election to make up for past losses.
"All delegates must go back to their sections and branches to gather members, make detailed preparations and strengthen the party.
"This is the time for us to train members so that they provide the best services to the people and, as such, can get back their support," he said.
Meanwhile MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong proposed that potential candidates for the GE14 form a call centre in their areas in order to interact with party members and voters.
MCA Youth chief Datuk Chong Sin Woon called on party members to be positive thinking on the issue of the provision of education to Chinese national type schools (SJKC).
He said if the members or delegates were always not satisfied with the allocation given, it seemed as though the party was ungrateful to the assistance provided.
"Actually the allocation given every year to SJKCs greatly helped in terms of physical renovation of schools and the construction of new blocks to accommodate the large number of students," he added. -- BERNAMA
