Changes for RapidKL routes through Jalan Pahang, Jalan Ipoh starting tomorrow

There will be temporary changes to the last stop and route for RapidKL buses going through Jalan Pahang and Jalan Ipoh starting tomorrow.
In a statement today, Prasarana Negara Berhad said the change was in line with a statement issued by the Land and Public Transport Commission (SPAD) yesterday.
Among the routes affected are Medan Pasar-Desa Aman (U4), Bangkok Bank-Segambut/Mont Kiara (U7), Medan Pasar-Taman Sri Sinar (U11), Medan Pasar-Taman Ehsan (U13), Bangkok Bank-Sri Segambut (U14), Medan Pasar-Taman Intan Baiduri (U209) and Medan Pasar-Jinjang Utara (U222).
"Buses on these routes are only allowed to pick up and drop off passengers and cannot stop at the Final City Stop (HSBC, Lebuh Ampang)," said the statement.
The route will also be changed to pass through Jalan Hang Lekiu before entering Jalan Tun Perak, heading towards Jalan Raja Laut.
The changes are aimed at reducing traffic congestion and to ensure the safety of passengers in the vicinity of the Heritage Trail construction site.
Among the long distance routes affected are Lebuh Pudu-Pinggiran Batu Caves (U1), Lebuh Pudu-Greenwood (U2), Lebuh Pudu-Pinggiran Batu Caves (U2A), Medan Pasar-Bandar Baru Selayang (U3), Medan Pasar-Taman Jasa Utama(U6), Medan Pasar-Damansara Damai (U8), Lebuh Pudu-Pinggiran Batu Caves (U10) and Lebuh Pudu-UIA Gombak (U12).
The Final City Stop for these routes have been relocated from Lebuh Ampang (HSBC) to Jalan Ampang (near Jalan Munshi Abdullah).
"The buses will go through Jalan Munsi Abdullah and Dang Wangi before continuing onto Jalan Raja Laut as usual," the statement added.
