Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) this morning issued a two-hour notice to a group that had camped at Padang Merbok overnight to vacate the site.

DBKL enforcement officers, met by reporters at the site, said the notice was issued at 10.15am ordering them to remove the tents they had erected there as they did not have the permission of the mayor to do so.

"We are giving them until 12.15pm and if they fail to do so, action will be taken," he said.

Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) chairman Badrul Hisham Shahrin better knownas Cikgu Bard said about 100 tents were erected at Padang Merbok after the Black 505 gathering there yesterday.

"Yesterday, 246 people camped here and we will act according to the situation depending on instructions from DBKL," he said.
