Bill Kayong murder case: Police to call family, friends to testify

Police have started calling up several individuals to record their statements on the murder of PKR Miri Branch Secretary, Bill Kayong, yesterday.

Sarawak CID chief, SAC Dev Kumar said, among those who testified include family members and close friends of the victim.

"We are still investigating it from various aspects. At the moment, we are talking to several family members and close friends of the victim to get the accurate information in assisting our investigation into the case.

"So far, investigation is still ongoing and we will update any further development from time to time," he said when contacted by Astro AWANI today.

However, he did not go into details on the individuals who have been called up to testify.

Meanwhile, Dev Kumar said, until this morning, none of those who witnessed the incident came forward with information.

"Once again, we call upon any motorists who witnessed the incident to provide the information to us," he said.
