Baby boy found dead in Kepong shopping mall

A baby boy was found dead in a toilet of a shopping mall on Jalan Kepong, here, Thursday.

Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the baby with complete features was found by a cleaner in the women's toilet of Brem Mall at 3.15pm.

"We believe that the baby was born 36 hours ago and hidden in a canvas bag," he said in a statement.

The body was taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for autopsy. The case is being investigated under Section 318 of the Penal Code.
