ARAMEX Malaysia Sdn Bhd, one of the leading freight and logistics solution provider here in Asia recently rode its way into playing its part as a responsible citizen to further reduce the carbon footprint and also to empower its staff here in Malaysia.

It recently undertook the commissioning and delivery of 10 new motorcycles for its express courier delivery fleet, to further improve on its services to its customer base here in Malaysia. This is in line of many efforts it has undertaken to further consolidate on being a responsible business towards sustainability and also playing its part to the community by responsibly aligning its business operations to that of creating awareness within the community.  

Aramex’s unique, asset-light business model underlies all of the strategic decisions it makes. It has proved highly successful, allowing Aramex to swiftly adapt to challenging market conditions, execute last-mile delivery solutions and quickly respond to changing customer preferences.

As an added incentive to the launch of this fleet, a  “Ride-To-Own” scheme was introduced, whereby the delivery riders will get to own these bikes once they have completed their 3 years of service with Aramex. This in return, will help to boost their own dreams of owning their own bikes and also to encourage them to take up more of an entrepreneurial

Present at the launch of the event was Samer Hajjar, the Vice President of South Asia as well as Aramex Malaysia Country Head, Mr. Bryan Yeo who together handed over the keys and the bikes to the riders in a ceremony held at its operational facility here at Petaling Jaya.
