KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has finished his audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara this morning.
Anwar who arrived at about 10.25 am through Gate 2, was seen leaving Istana Negara through the same gate at about 11.30 am.
However, the media's attempt to get any comment from the Port Dickson MP failed.
Meanwhile, the media was informed that he will make an important announcement at a special press conference at the Le Meridien Hotel Kuala Lumpur at 2 pm today.
Earlier, the media reported that Anwar would present the number of MPs who were said to support him to become the new Prime Minister, during his audience with the King.
Anwar claimed the number he described not only exceeded the simple majority but “very strong and convincing”.
