All areas in Klang Valley record unhealthy API

The haze in the Klang Valley is currently at its worst, with all areas recording unhealthy Air Pollution Index (API) readings as at 8am today.
The area with the highest API reading in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur is Batu Muda (185), followed by Cheras (156). Putrajaya, meanwhile, recorded a reading of 173.
In Selangor, Banting has the highest API reading at 181, followed by Port Klang (171), Shah Alam (159), Petaling Jaya (155) and Kuala Selangor (115).
An API reading is categorised as good when it doesn’t exceed 50, moderate (51-100), unhealthy (100-200), very unhealthy (200-300) and hazardous (above 300).
