The Future Music Festival Asia 2014 was cancelled after a case of drug abuse.
The Twin Tower @ Live concert organised by the Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC will be held in conjunction with the Formula One Grand Prix scheduled to take place during the end of this month.
However, last Friday's incident, during the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 concert which witnessed the death of six people, caused by drug abuse has many questioning the behaviours of concert goers.
Sepang International Circuit (SIC) CEO Datuk Razlan Razali is advising concert goers to stay away from substance abuse.
“I want to advise concert goers to not be too extreme. Enjoy the concert without using negative substances like drugs, alcohol and so on. We will also collaborate with the anti-drug agency to remind concert goers to not consume negative substances, like drugs, which could be very dangerous,” he said.
The Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix will be held from March 28 to 30.
Razlan also explained, F1 fans will not only be entertained by the race but also a line of entertainment events which include the Twin Tower @ Live 2014 concert.
"This is the third year and it is a free concert for the public. On Friday, we will have artists like Christina Aguilera, Craig David and Rick Astley performing. On Saturday, we will have K-Pop artists from Korea gracing the stage," Razlan added.
Despite the international line-up during the concert which will be a major attraction for the concert, SIC is also sensitive towards the missing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
“We need to be sensitive of this incident. We need to follow the daily updates so that we know what to do during the tribute. We do not want to be make the wrong tribute.”
