Ron Livingston has signed onto the fourth season of "Boardwalk Empire," Deadline.com has revealed.

Livingston will join Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt and Michael Shannon on the show playing Roy Phillips, a new businessman in town who will not go unnoticed. His character will appear in the fourth season, set to air in the fall of 2013 on HBO.

It is not the first time on cable TV for indie movie specialist Livingston. The actor appeared in "Band of Brothers," "Sex and the City" and "Game Change."
