Dakota and Elle Fanning are continuing their careers in several projects that were revealed at the European Film Market in Berlin.

The elder sister, 18-year-old Dakota, has joined the cast of "Every Secret Thing," adapted from Laura Lippman's novel "Leakin Park." The actress, who was discovered in 2001 in "I am Sam," will play a young woman who is released from jail for murdering a baby when she reaches adulthood.

Danielle Macdonald will star as her presumed accomplice in this drama by Amy Berg. Elizabeth Banks will play the lead in the movie, inspector Nancy Porter, who is leading an investigation into the disappearances of children that all occurred when the two teenagers were released. According to Deadline.com, filming should begin at the end of next March in New York.

Elle Fanning, who is four years younger than her sister, also has several projects in the pipeline. The "Somewhere" and "Super 8" actress will star in "Young Ones." According to Variety, this thriller in which Kodi Smit-McPhee ("Let Me In") will play the lead role will be set in a world where water has become scarce.

Elle Fanning will also star alongside Michael Shannon and Nicholas Hoult in a film by Gwyneth Paltrow's younger brother, Jake Paltrow. Filming on this movie has already begun.
