Marvel's 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' casts Jona Xiao

Jona Xiao will join actors Hannibal Buress, Logan Marshal-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori.

JONA Xiao has joined the cast of Sony-Marvel's "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

However, no additional details are known on what character she will play.

The young actress will join actors Hannibal Buress, Logan Marshal-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori.

Variety reports that the new Spider-Man flick will center on a teenaged Peter Parker played by British actor Tom Holland. Marisa Tomei will take on the role of Aunt May while Michael Keaton will play the film's villain.

Jona Xiao will next be seen on season 3 of "Halt and Catch Fire" on AMC and opposite Zach Galifianakis and Jon Hamm in Fox's "Keeping Up With the Joneses".

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will premiere July 7, 2017.
