NME has reported that Fatboy Slim has been working with actor Idris Elba on a musical collaboration.
The British magazine spoke to the DJ -- real name Norman Cook -- at the Snowbombing festival in Mayrhofen, Austria, where he revealed the news.
Although he admitted he couldn't reveal too much, Cook did let slip the news that the pair had been working together on music for Elba's new film "Bastille Day".
"I've just done something with Idris Elba for his next film, which is quite interesting," Cook revealed to NME. "I don't know if it's under wraps so I don't want to get in trouble by saying too much. It's called 'Bastille Day,' and we've written a song together, and Idris sings on it which is fun."
It's not the first time Elba has made a foray into music, with the British actor also rapping on the recent official remix of Skepta's single "Shutdown." He is also known to DJ, with Cook explaining that it was from seeing Elba on the decks that the collaboration came about.
As well as Elba, "Bastille Day" will also feature "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden, Charlotte Le Bon, Eriq Ebouaney and José Garcia.
