Qatar strongly condemned the explosion at two churches in Egypt Sunday, killing at least 43 and wounding 119 others, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

It described the reoccurrence of such actions in Egypt as a horrible crime.
According to reports, the first bombing targeted a Church in the Egyptian City of Tanta on Sunday, killing 27 people and wounding 78 others.
This was followed by a second bombing outside St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Alexandria, which left at least 16 killed and 41 others wounded.
The statement reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and reasons.
The statement extended Qatar's condolences to families of the victims and the Egyptian people and wished the injured speedy recovery.
