Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has extended his deepest condolences to the families of those killed in the deadly bomb attack in Lahore, Pakistan, yesterday.
"Cowardly murder in Lahore is yet another reminder of need to fight extremism. Malaysia's thoughts are with our Pakistani brothers and sisters," he said in his official Twitter account today.

At least 69 people, including a large number of women and children, were killed and over 300 others injured when a suicide bomber hit a public park in Pakistan's east Lahore city Sunday evening, China's Xinhua news agency reported officials as saying.
According to Xinhua, a Pakistan Taliban splinter group claimed responsibility for the deadly suicide attack.
