Perdana Menteri Britain, Boris Johnson dipindahkan ke unit rawatan rapi (ICU) selepas simptom jangkitan koronavirus "semakin teruk".
Jurucakap Downing Street dalam satu kenyataan berkata beliau dipindahkan atas nasihat pasukan perubatannya dan kini sedang menerima rawatan terbaik, lapor BBC.
"Perdana Menteri kini di bawah jagaan para doktor di Hospital St Thomas di London selepas dimasukkan ke wad dengan simptom koronavirus yang berterusan.
"Sepanjang tengah hari Isnin, keadaan perdana menteri semakin membimbangkandan atas nasihat pasukan perubatan, beliau telah dipindahkan ke unit rawatan rapi di hospital tersebut.
"PM sedang menerima jagaan terbaik, dan terima kasih diucapkan kepada semua staf NHS atas kerja keras dan dedikasi mereka," tulis kenyataan itu.
