Malaysia's first hybrid airline, Malindo Air, will start three times weekly direct flights from here to Punjab's capital, Amritsar, from Oct 25.
In a statement today, its Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy, said the five-hour 20-minute flight, using Boeing 737-900ER aircraft, would signify the airline's furthest destination from main hub in KL.
"The flight will offer all-inclusive one-way promotional fares for business class from RM1,309 and economy class from RM759," he said.
He said Malaysians and transiting visitors from Singapore could look forward to the flight to Amritsar whether for business, leisure or religious purposes.
The flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) will depart daily at 9.15am and arrive at the Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport (ATQ) at 12.25pm.
The return flight is at 1.15pm and will touch down in klia2 at 9.35pm.
