Malaysia's cabinet has agreed to set up an economic action council to tackle serious issues affecting the economy, such as a drop in global oil prices and a coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said on Wednesday.
The council will be drawn from senior ministers, the central bank governor and other experts, Muhyiddin told his first news conference since he unveiled his cabinet on Monday.
