Bank Rakyat has advised members of the Malaysian Armed Forces not to fall to the tricks of agents who imposed charges involving approval of documents and financing.

In a statement today, the Islamic cooperative bank said it did not impose any charge for application for financing.

"The bank will take legal action and report to the authorities if there are people using its name and logo without its permissin for all banking products promotion," it said.

It said people must go to the nearest Bank Rakyat branch to apply for loans or seek further information from official bank channels.
