Free 1GB of Internet daily until December 31, 2020 - PM

Telecommunication companies will provide free one gigabyte of Internet service to all users from 8 am to 6 pm daily.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the free service would be enjoyed by the people until December 31, 2020.

“The government in collaboration with telecommunication companies will provide free one gigabyte of Internet service for all users from 8 am to 6 pm daily to access educational websites and video conferencing applications.

“The service will be available until December 31, 2020.

"In addition, all users will be able to access unlimited free websites and government COVID-19 applications, especially MySejahtera," he said in his special address on the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan (ERP) here on Friday.
