RHB Research Institute Sdn Bhd (RHBRI) is confident that Brahim's Holdings is on the road to hit its RM1 billion revenue target by 2017.
The research institute said the optimism was based on Brahim's potentially better contribution from the airport food and beverages outlets upon the opening of klia2.
"Brahim's will also be riding on its stronger performance from its in-flight catering business due to higher passenger traffic and accretive mergers and acquisitions in the pipeline," RHBRI said in its Top Malaysia Small Cap Companies 2013 edition.
Brahim's was listed among the top five small cap companies in the report.
It said there could be more potential asset injections ahead for Brahim's with potential candidates such as Dewina Food Industries and Desatera Sdn Bhd.
"Both companies are under Dewina Holdings, which is privately-owned by Brahim's major shareholder. We believe the potential deal will enlarge its halal food market," it said.
