Airasia to cease flights to Da Nang from June 10

Low-cost carrier, AirAsia Bhd, will terminate its four weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang, Vietnam, effective June 10, as part of its route network realignment.
In a statement, AirAsia said guests affected by the withdrawal of this route would be offered options to alleviate any inconvenience that might occur.
It said each affected guest would be notified via their registered member e-mail account on the AirAsia website, as well as, a short message service (SMS) notification of the route termination.
All guests are advised to keep their e-mail addresses and mobile numbers with their country code prefix updated in their AirAsia member profiles to ensure that the airline can reach them to provide assistance due to the cancellation of this route.
AirAsia said affected guests would be offered three options which would include moving their flights to an earlier date to or from Kuala Lumpur or Da Nang, Vietnam, without any extra charges but subject to availability.
It will also offer a credit shell for the value that they had paid with a six months validity or full refund.
