Number of flood victims in Kelantan, Perak, Johor continues to drop

The number of flood evacuees in relief centres increased slightly in Pahang, while in Kelantan, Perak and Johor the number continues to decline, as at 8pm Tuesday.
Total number of evacuees in the four states has now dropped to 4,434 compared to 4,569 this evening.
In PAHANG, a spokesman for the Pahang police contingent headquarters' flood operations room said Temerloh district recorded a slight increase with the number of evacuees now at 939 compared to 892 in the evening.
However, in Pekan district, all 99 evacuees were allowed to go home.
In KELANTAN, a state MKN spokesman said the overall number of evacuees decreased from 1,555 to 1,525 tonight.
The number of evacuees in relief centres in Machang dropped to 30 from 60, there were no changes in Kuala Krai (988), Gua Musang (414) and Tanah Merah (93).
Meanwhile in PERAK, a state MKN spokesman said number of evacuees continued to decrease from 2,096 to 1,952.
Perak Tengah recorded a decline with 1,632 evacuees, Hilir Perak (210), Manjung (76) while Hulu Perak remained with 34.
In JOHOR, the flood situation improved with only 18 evacuees remaining compared to 26 this evening.
